Eleni Papadonikolaki studies how construction and infrastructure projects and organisations change, and what that change asks of the people leading it. Her work spans digitalisation in megaprojects, blockchain innovation ecosystems and collaboration in project-based settings — investigated through rich case studies rather than snapshots. The paradox at the centre of Infra-PaX emerged from her own recent fieldwork: studying digital twins in the net-zero transition, she kept finding leaders caught between decarbonising and digitalising, with no vocabulary for the conflict.
